Kaitlin has years of curated private enterprise experience. She started her career with the mindset to help small businesses thrive. With that goal, she started her career at KPMG Enterprise, earning her CPA and gaining expertise for 5 years, helping private companies prepare financials, tax plan, build processes and discover operational efficiencies. She owned and managed multiple ongoing engagements in various industries ranging from hotels, technology and banking. She then focused on scaling finance functions in the cannabis, fintech, and jewelry space at Emblem, Paybright, RATESDOTCA, and Mejuri, respectively. She, most recently, worked at Compound Studio. In her time as CFO, she focused on improving cash flow, ERP selection and implementation, improving US sales tax processes, and other efficiencies. In her time as CEO, she focused on improving profitability via an updated marketing, merchandising and business development strategy. She hired, trained and coached leaders in the organization, allowing the business to reach new heights and succeed working as one unified team.

After he completed his CPA,CA he jumped into his first start ups at eSight, they used augmented reality technology to help
Chris brings years of experience in finance helping companies build and scale financial foundations. He started his career at Deloitte where he worked with public companies and helped companies prepare to go public. After he completed his CPA,CA he jumped into his first start ups at eSight, they used augmented reality technology to help the legally blind see! He worked on improving and building operational and financial processes. He helped scale a demo network, build sales commission models, manage investor and board relations as well as preparing and creating the financial due diligence to help the company raise funding. After eSight, Chris joined a Toronto startup called Chefhero. Chefhero is a marketplace between restaurants and wholesale food distributors, promoting local food distributors within the city. Chris started as their first finance hire and implemented their accounting system, commercial banking and built Chefhero’s financial foundation. He worked with the product and engineering team to create an invoicing feature, purchase ordering feature and an automated three way match engine to help the company scale. Chris was a part of the US expansion into Chicago and built the due diligence material that helped the company fundraise. Now Chris wants to maximize his impact and bring his expertise to help companies build financial foundations to help them raise money and scale.
